When you take on a project that’s more than seven acres and 72,000 square feet, you know it’s going to be something special. That was the case when Young Automotive Group partnered with us to build their new Subaru dealership on Riverdale Road in Ogden, now one of the largest Subaru dealerships in the state.
This project was also featured in Utah Construction & Design magazine—see the article here.
More Than Just Size
From the beginning, this project wasn’t about building the biggest dealership—it was about creating the best experience for customers and employees. With 52 service bays, a spacious two-story showroom, and advanced features like alignment machines and quick oil-change stations, every detail was planned to support growth while making service more efficient.
Project Specs
Square Footage: 72,000 SF
Service Bays: 52
Showroom: Two levels
Site Size: 7 acres
Tackling the Land First
Before we could go vertical, there was a lot of ground to cover, literally. The site originally consisted of more than a dozen separate parcels. Our team handled the demolition, grading, excavation, and utility relocation to bring it all together. One of the standout challenges was a two-tier, 1,200-foot retaining wall that peaks at 23 feet high. It was a massive undertaking, but one that set the foundation for the dealership’s success.
A Place Built for People
Step inside, and it’s clear the building was designed with people in mind. Natural light, modern finishes, and open layouts make the showroom inviting. Employees enjoy spacious break rooms, locker areas, and dedicated workspaces. For customers, the service drive was built to make things easier, vehicles can roll through, get an alignment check, and keep moving without the typical wait.
Customer & Employee Features

A Partnership That Works
We’ve been fortunate to work with Young Automotive on several projects over the years, and this one highlights the trust and collaboration we’ve built together. Every step of the way, their team pushed for innovation, and we matched that with hands-on construction expertise. The end result is a dealership that isn’t just big, it’s smart, efficient, and ready for the future.
At Center Point Construction, projects like the Young Subaru dealership remind us why we do what we do: building spaces that serve communities, support businesses, and create lasting value for the people who use them every day.
